Join RAWI for an Offsite Dance Party at AWP Baltimore!

RAWI is a proud sponsor of “Hard Times Require Furious Dancing,” an offsite dance party organized by CityLit Project, a values-aligned literary nonprofit in Baltimore. CityLit’s mission is to create enthusiasm for the literary arts, connect a community of avid readers and writers, and design opportunities for diverse audiences to embrace the literary arts.

We are collaborating with the CityLit Project to create joy in movement on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 4MLK from 6:30–9:30 p.m. at 4MLK Biopark, just minutes from the Convention Center. We’re genuinely excited about this event and feel it aligns closely with RAWI’s mission of building liberatory, generous literary community—especially around AWP.

Other hosts include: Wexford Science & Technology, BioPark at the University of Maryland, The Loft Literary Center, Kundiman, Pen Parentis, Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance, Furious Flower Poetry Center, Wintergreen Women Writers Collective, George Mason University, Watershed Lit, Hurston Wright Foundation, The Watering Hole, Cave Canem, Obsidian, and Mid Atlantic Arts.
